Prepare the presenter list
Add one student or team per line. Remove absent presenters and use clear labels when people share the same first name. If students present in groups, list each group once rather than adding every member separately.

Generate the full order once

Repeatedly reshuffling until a preferred order appears undermines the reason for randomizing. If a real constraint exists, state it before generation or make a transparent adjustment afterward.
Handle real classroom constraints
Random does not mean inflexible. A student may need a scheduled break, assistive technology setup, an interpreter, or another accommodation. Apply known requirements before generating the order when possible. If a change is needed later, explain that it is a practical adjustment rather than pretending the revised sequence was the original random result.
For absent students, decide whether they move to the next available session or receive a separate date. Do not regenerate the entire order every time attendance changes unless the class has agreed to that rule.
Choose a clear change policy
